In 2012, New Orleans native Trey Denis graduated from high school and moved to New York City with the mission of conquering the fashion world. While studying fashion design at the famed Parsons School for Design, he interned with Banana Republic and Reason Brand Clothing and assisted in advertising campaigns and runway shows for Amazon Fashion and Givenchy. In Butterfly Effect, his inaugural feature on The Quarterly, Denis explores a society dependent on technology and anxious of government through his aptly titled senior thesis collection, ‘Era of Transparency.’ For more information on Denis and his designs, view The Quarterly’s exclusive interview with the designer here.
