FiftyTwo45’s resident videographer and editor Darian Brenner is the co-founder of Third Eye Film Festival (TEFF), an event aimed to build a community dedicated to showcasing ‘otherworldly’ stories and supports the work of visionary female filmmakers in spiritual, fantasy, and horror genres.

Third Eye Film Festival made its New York City premiere in December and is thrilled to announce its New Orleans debut! TEFF will run its inaugural lineup again in New Orleans this month, showcasing 36 films in horror, fantasy, and spiritual genres from 13 different countries.

TEFF’s mission is to celebrating female filmmakers, break stigmas and feature powerful female-driven content in genre filmmaking, ultimately opening doors to social change. This year, the festival celebrates that over half of the selected films were created by women and through its Female Eye category, TEFF supports female filmmakers by offering discounted submission fees and highlighting their work.
